One-Night Stand - 50's sound (already on youtube)
The Coal Room of Briar Hill Ave. (listen at www.listentotrack.ca/songs - find me under "Z"
Hit and Run - oh, how I hate the corporate greed and destruction, but set to great rocking blues
The Muddy River - slow blues
Women!- a call to end the history of men's abuse, & a plea to men to aid the fight -  serious, but the tune is fun & joyous
Love's New Door - another jazzish style; very lovely, if I do say so myself
I Hear a Song - and I hope I always do - funky, salsa rhythm
Why Can't I Sleep? - jazzy & latin
What Can I Do? - a funky sound
Summer Sunday Afternoon - sultry, hot, and slow

BLAST PAST ONE & SONG CLIP

Here's a peek into my early years, and a bit of one of the songs on the DecaDance CD, to be released in July.  And it's not working as I view it.  Perhaps it work will itself out, and if not, my early years will remain a mystery, and I'll post the song clips on youtube later.  Sigh.......
Never mind; here's the youtube link:

WANNA DANCE

Man!, and Woman!  Sho' is a lot of work getting ready for this little celebration of mine.  Most of it is the searching for friends and acquaintances from years past, and the compilation of a huge list, so's I can invite everyone.  And the bio's, and the photos, and the planning of the CD cover and layout, and the actual recording and mixing, and the rehearsing.
Why, I hardly have a moment to actually sing, let alone dance.
I think I'll sneak a little time off to do just those two things this afternoon.
Woman does not live on bread alone (not that this project earns me any bread).
Still, it's a labour of love.
I'll be posting little snippets of songs soon, but meanwhile, here are some pictures of some recording times in studio, and some rehearsals.
